Job Description Under the direct Supervision of the Gross Room Manager, the Histotechnologist/ Grossing Assistant assists in the gross examination of anatomic pathology biopsy specimens. Responsibilities include receiving, dissecting, photographing, and describing surgical specimens to ensure proper processing for accurate diagnoses. Job Responsibilities: Specimen Handling: Receives and verifies patient specimens with accurate documentation. Prepares and preserves tissues for examination, ensuring proper handling, fixation, and embedding. Performs gross examination of biopsies
