OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTSPosition Purpose:As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Mercy Care Atlanta, you will deliver primary care services to our pediatric population under medical protocol. Your role involves examining patients, making diagnoses, dispensing medication, and facilitating referrals as necessary. What You Will Do: Provide direct, pediatric patient care in an outpatient setting with opportunities to engage in population health management and quality/safety activities. Instructs patient/family regarding medications and treatments. Educates patients regarding health promotion/illness prevention. Recommends appropriate community resources to meet patient/family needs.
