Birth Registrar
The Birth Registrar is responsible for coordinating all activities relating to the completion and filing of birth certificates with the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) via electronic transmission within required time frames and according to state guidelines. Responsibilities: * Assists with distribution and collection of birth packets to new moms. * Abstracts needed information. * Electronically completes birth certificates within 5 business days of birth according to state regulations. * Prepares and provides completed certificates to the physicians for signatures. * Submits Parentage Papers to the state. * Makes needed correcti
