Apply to chat with a recruiter about the details! The Southlands Emergency Room unit at Parker Adventist Hospital is a freestanding ED, where we care for all emergency and medical conditions. We have nine beds and six vertical spaces, and we see around 21-25 patients per day. Our mission is to provide professional, patient-centered care by utilizing clinical excellence, innovation and compassion in all that we do. We have an intimate and collaborative culture that is always based on what is best for the patient, which has led to high associate and patient satisfaction scores. Team members must be engaged in their work, value excellence in clinical practice and always put the patient first. Job Summary:Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient. Promotes the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
