Develop, implement, monitor ongoing operations of the decision support system including the cost accounting system and/or decision support system for the hospital by using tools to prepare and present statistical/financial analyses, graphs, and reports with analytical support to a variety of personnel on a regular and ad hoc basis as required.
Ensure integrity of financial data for the decision support and cost accounting system, and maintain cost standards at the charge item level.
Emphasis on working with customers to turn data into meaningful information via creating reports that display the results, data reconciliation, and costing.
Provide guidance to other coordinators/analyst, and departmental contacts to improve the organizations use of information and financial performance.
Other information: Technical Expertise
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and problem-solving skills are required.
Proven experience as the person will be interacting with physicians and all levels of clinical and non-clinical management.
Proven application, spreadsheet, and database experience required.
Three years experience with Decision Support systems including training responsibilities preferred.
Epic experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to prepare, review, and present a wide spectrum of financial analyses.
Education and Experience
Requires bachelor degree of business administration in Accounting/Finance or related technical degree.  Master's preferred.
Minimum of eight (8) years analytics or related experience or Master's degree with a minimum of five (5) years analytics or related experience required
